Modern exotic and luxury vehicles are more complex than ever before — and at the heart of these machines is a dense network of electronics driven by CAN Bus systems. At CCR Exotics, we specialize in deep-level electronic diagnostics, with capabilities that go far beyond simple scan tools. We work with CAN Bus technology at the packet level — meaning we can read, write, and interpret individual messages within the network to identify issues that most shops can’t even detect. Whether it’s a corrupted ECU, a faulty TCU, or a mysterious fault code no one else can explain, we’re equipped to find and fix it.
Since 2010, the complexity of automotive electrical systems has exploded. Manufacturers guard their information closely, and without the right tools and insider knowledge, diagnosing a modern exotic can feel impossible.
That’s why we invest heavily in premium data access and subscription services that provide wiring diagrams, testing protocols, and in-depth documentation other shops simply don’t have. Our electrical division includes hand-picked technicians who specialize exclusively in electronics — their sole focus is understanding and resolving electrical issues.
Our in-house services include ECU, TCU, BCM, and SRS bench testing, cloning, and modification — allowing us to repair or reprogram critical modules quickly and accurately. But that’s just the beginning. We’re able to trace broken wires through hundreds of feet of harnesses, diagnose failing control modules, identify damaged fuse blocks, and resolve CAN Bus network errors that can cripple even the most advanced cars.
To give you an idea of how far we go: we once had an Audi RS7 with a non-functioning A/C system. Dozens of hours were wasted elsewhere replacing components with no result. We dug deeper. After carefully tracing the wiring, pouring over diagrams, and physically disassembling large sections of the interior, engine bay, and firewall, we discovered a short in the main harness — under the driver’s seat. A problem no one could solve for months took us two days, but we got it done right.
